Cleaning questions Houston customers ask
Prices, frequency, supplies, keys, weekends, weather and what happens if something gets missed. Anything not here, call and ask.
How often should I have my house cleaned?
Every other week suits most Houston households. Weekly is better with young children, several pets or allergies. Monthly works for small, tidy homes. A deep clean once or twice a year keeps any plan on track.
How much does a cleaning service charge in Houston?
For 2026, a regular visit to a three-bedroom home typically costs $120 to $260 depending on frequency and size, and a first-time deep clean $280 to $450. See the price guide.
What do your cleaners bring?
Everything: vacuums with HEPA filters, microfiber cloths, mops, buckets and the cleaning products. If you want a specific product used, leave it out.
Do I need to be home?
No. Most customers leave a key, a lockbox or a door code. We text when the crew arrives and when they lock up.
Are your cleaners employees or contractors?
Our crews work under our checklists and our rules for keys, alarms and property. Ask us on the phone about the arrangement for your area and we will explain it.
Is cleaning licensed in Texas?
No. Texas has no state license for house cleaning or commercial cleaning. Specialist jobs, such as mold remediation, are licensed separately, and we refer them out.
What if I am not happy with a cleaning?
Tell us within 48 hours. We come back and redo anything on the checklist that was missed, at no charge.
Do you clean on weekends?
Yes. Saturday and Sunday visits are available, and they fill early.
What happens if it storms on my cleaning day?
We clean through ordinary rain. If roads flood or a storm warning is out, we call to move the visit and you never pay for a cancellation caused by weather.
Can I cancel or reschedule?
Yes, with two days' notice at no charge. Late cancellations may carry a fee, which is stated on your quote.
Do you clean apartments and high-rises?
Yes. Tell us about parking, loading docks, elevators and any building rules for contractors, and we plan around them.
Do you clean offices at night?
Yes. Most office and commercial cleaning happens after business hours, with crews following a key and alarm procedure.
Do you offer green or fragrance-free cleaning?
Yes. Fragrance-free and lower-toxicity products are available on any visit. Our green cleaning guide explains the options.
Do you clean up after floods?
We clean surfaces after storm water has been removed, and clear mud and debris. Water extraction, drying and mold remediation are specialist trades; we will tell you when you need one.
