Spring is an unincorporated community in north Harris County with more than 60,000 people in the Census-designated area and many more in the surrounding neighborhoods. Its streets run along Cypress Creek and Spring Creek under pines and oaks, with homes ranging from 1970s brick ranches to newer two-story builds. Old Town Spring keeps its small historic shopping district, and the I-45 and Grand Parkway corridors have filled with new homes and businesses.
The biggest change on the north side has been the ExxonMobil campus, which brought thousands of jobs and a wave of offices, clinics, restaurants and apartments with it.
