What this website can and can't tell you

Some honest limits on the prices, checklists and guides you'll find here.

Updated October 2026.

Are the prices on this site a quote?

No. They're 2026 ranges for the Houston area so you have a sense of the cost before you call. Your price depends on the size and condition of the space, how often we come and what's on the checklist, and it's only fixed once you have it in writing.

Will your guides work for my home?

They're written for typical Houston homes and workplaces, and they're general. Surfaces, finishes and products vary, so always test a cleaner on a hidden spot first and follow the manufacturer's instructions for your floors, counters and fixtures.

Is anything here health, legal or insurance advice?

No. Our notes on allergies, disinfecting, mold and storm cleanup describe cleaning, not medicine. Whether a storm or water loss is covered is between you and your insurer. Mold assessment and remediation, water extraction and hood duct cleaning are separate, specialist trades, and in Texas mold work is licensed. When a job needs one of them, we'll say so.

Who actually cleans?

Independent cleaning crews we work with, as our referral disclosure explains. Bayou Cleaning Co. books, manages and stands behind the work booked through this site.

Are the facts about Houston up to date?

We use public sources such as the U.S. Census Bureau and say when a figure was published. Numbers change, and the original source is always the final word.

What if something goes wrong at my home?

If anything is damaged or not right after a visit, call (346) 474-5799 or email hello@bayoucleaningco.com straight away, and see our complaints policy for what happens next. If there's an emergency such as a gas smell, sparking or flooding, call 911 or your utility first.
